Today was the day when I visited the Museo de la Cancilleria to help lay out the tapestries and worked with the exhibit curator, Wesley. He is the person who takes charge of the exhibition and displays it.He was very impressed with the work of the Scoil Mhuire pupils and said it tells a great story very well.

I helped to put it in order for him and also inserted the pole supports, he said I was a great help and the Director of the museum also came in to see the work. It had been very carefully packaged by Maria.  Natalie , the assistant director printed more of the information leaflets for the visitors tomorrow.

I think the tapestries will look great in the room and we brought William along to help but he just hung out in the corner.DSCF1221
After we had finished in the museum we went to an aquarium and saw some amazing stingrays, cute penguins and fluorescent fish!luminous fish I also ate nachos, they were tasty but very filling like a lot of the Mexican food.I am going to include some random photos in this post because there is so much to see in this city and every part of it I visit is different. The museum is the Historic area and is full of 16th/17th century Spanish architecture and downtown Mexico is all high rise and contemporary.downtown Mexico CityTomorrow is the big day and the reason why I am here so more to follow tomorrow.
